“I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it.” Buddy the Elf
I realize that I just lived in Morocco for four months and only posted about it once.
Well,
I'm glad to say I was busy experiencing and just forgot to update.
SO to give a quick summary of why Morocco is more than camels and drinking tea AND to convince you all that it needs to be on your "visit" lists, I compiled a little tune.
You can read it like a poem or sing it to the tune of "My Favorite Things" from Sound of Music.
Either way, I absolutely loved these people and this place and I will miss the time there deeply.
AND
If I could only share one thing:
I'd remind you that we're all limited by our experiences and urge you to take your next opportunity to get outside of your immediate context. Go spend some time in another country, really seeing and living it, and let that shape your perspective on people, values, cultures, etc. worldwide.
